Information We Collect
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect:

- Visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string (for spam detection)

Contact Forms
When you submit a contact form on our website, PathWise IT collects personal data you provide (such as name, email address, phone number, company, and message). These forms are powered by WordPress, Kadence WP, and HubSpot, which helps us store and process this data on our behalf to respond to inquiries, send requested information, and manage communications.
We share this collected contact information with HubSpot as a service provider under contract. HubSpot may process this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Interactive Assessment Tools
When you complete an interactive assessment tool on our website, such as our IT Cost Discovery Assessment, we collect the information you provide including your responses to assessment questions, contact details (name, email address, phone number, and company name), and general information about your organization’s technology environment.
This information is used to:
- Generate your personalized assessment results
- Contact you regarding your results and follow up on your inquiry
- Create and manage your record in our customer relationship management system (HubSpot)
- Improve our services and assessment tools
Assessment data is shared with HubSpot as a service provider under contract, in accordance with our Data Processing Agreement outlined below. We do not use your assessment responses for any purpose beyond those listed above, and we do not sell this information to third parties.
Akismet Anti-Spam
We collect information about visitors who comment on sites that use our Akismet Anti-spam service. The information collected depends on how the site is configured, but typically includes:
- Commenter’s IP address
- User agent
- Referrer
- Site URL
- Name, username, email address, and comment content (as provided by the commenter)
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may extract location data from uploaded images.
Cookies

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
We have a contract with HubSpot that governs their processing of personal data on our behalf, including security and confidentiality obligations.

Data Retention
- Comments and metadata: retained indefinitely
- Registered users: personal data stored in user profiles
- Users can view, edit, or delete their data (except usernames)
- Administrators can also view and edit user data
